    The 2022-2023 DWU Lecture Series Presents Don Hedrick. Violent Crime: Challenge & Hope. Don Hedrick, Chief of Police with the Rapid City Police Department, is an experienced instructor with a demonstrated history of working in the public safety industry. Don graduated from DWU in 2022 and completed a M.S. in Public Administration from USD. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy at the University of Virginia. Don also studied American Indian/Native American Studies at Oglala Lakota College. He is now working on a Doctorate in Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
