We are excited to announce that the Heritage Edition of the St. Johns Bible has been gifted to Dakota Wesleyan University and will be available for public viewing at the McGovern Library!
The St. Johns Bible is the first hand-written, illuminated Bible created in over 500 years, blending ancient techniques with modern themes. Commissioned by St. John’s Abbey and University, it took 15 years to complete, with world-class calligraphers and artists working on its intricate pages. The Heritage Edition is a high-quality reproduction, offering a rare chance to experience the beauty and craftsmanship of this historical treasure up close.
